A macro tracker with no subscription.
Use it free. Or pay once and own it. Either way, nothing renews, there is nothing to sign up for, and no ads get in the way.
No subscription. No account. No catch.
Pay once, or not at all.
The free version of Adra is a real tracker, not a demo. Log meals with photo, barcode, label, or manual entry. Your day is free forever. The one-time unlock adds your complete history and all future features. It never renews and nothing counts down.
Nothing to sign up for.
Adra has no accounts. No email, no password, no profile to fill in. There is no login screen, and nothing syncs to a server. Your meals live in a database on your phone and nowhere else.
No ads, no timers.
The free tier is not paved with ads. No trial that runs out and no discount that expires if you wait. The app is exactly as calm on day 900 as it is on day one.
The math
Subscriptions are small at first and large in total. A tracker at €49.99 per year costs about €150 over three years. Adra costs €34.99 once.
| Year | Typical subscription tracker | Adra |
|---|---|---|
| Year 1 | €40–70 | €34.99 once |
| Year 3 | €120–210 | |
| Year 5 | €200–350 |
The competitor range reflects common list prices, verified October 2026. Local taxes are included in both cases.

Works offline, on your phone
Photo recognition runs on the phone's own chip. The food catalog ships inside the app. Airplane mode is not a limitation, in fact it changes nothing.
The one optional online moment is a barcode lookup for packaged foods. The request sends the barcode number to a public food database. Your photos stay home. The full story is on the privacy page.
What this does not mean
-
Photo macros are estimates.
A picture cannot weigh your plate. Adra gives you a starting estimate and you confirm or adjust it.
-
The catalog has edges.
247,065 foods are searchable offline, and 7,395 whole foods have image embeddings for photo matching. Grandma's secret recipe still needs a photo of your own.
-
Barcodes need a moment online.
Packaged-food data downloads on demand. That is the one feature that is not fully offline.
-
Android today.
One platform, done well. iOS is on the roadmap, not on the shelf.
FAQ
Is Adra really free?
Yes. The free version logs every meal, keeps today's view, and exports backups. No ads, no account, no time limit.
What does the one-time payment unlock?
Adra Full. Your complete history, any date range, plus all future features. One payment of €34.99, restored anytime from Play.
Do I need an account?
No. Adra has no accounts at all. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into.
Does it work without internet?
Almost always. Photo recognition, logging, and history all work offline. Only barcode lookups for packaged foods use the network, and they are optional.
